Yesterday, 07/31, I got the “Innovation Award” from Minted for “Moving Announcement Challenge”.  I am honored, humbled and very thankful to Minted!  This is totally out of my expectation, because I know how talented the designers are in Minted community, and how many brilliant designs are in this challenge.  Thank you so much, @Minted!
This award is very special to me, not only because of the recognition, but also because today, 0801, is a special day to us.  What a coincidence!  There is no better gift to celebrate this day in the sense that I need to credit part of this design to my husband.  Here is the story.
At the start of this design, after the idea of “typography and building” clicked, I associated “MOVE” quickly with “building, tree, flower branches, fence”, in a measurement of minutes.  But I was stuck with “D”.  My husband came back from work, came to my room, and wanted to see what I was drawing.  I told him I didn’t have anything for “D” yet!  He thought a little bit, and then said :” How about door of the fence?  It is closed, isn’t it?” Yes!  That is almost perfect because the door is adjacent to the fence, and it worked both logically and aesthetically!  Without his idea of “D”, this design wouldn’t have been picked, let along it was awarded with such a special award!
I have been thinking about this mysterious coincidence today.  The only conclusion I reached at was “Cherish, cherish and cherish”!  It is a good reminder to myself to cherish every moment and every person in my life!
